Smiles of Japan

Although the eathquake, tsunami and nuclear issue caused serious impacts, Japan as a country was NOT entirely destroyed or irradiated and people lead the normal life. But the media never mentioned it. Then the idea of  "travel volunteer" project came from an employee of a Travel Agency, called Magellan Resorts - The Real Japan in Kanazawa (Japan), while brainstorming how to bring Tourism back to Japan. They decided to create " Trave Volunteer project"  to support the recovery of Tourism in Japan through a volunteer traveler’s objective impressions on a daily travel blog. Out of 1897 applications received from 85 countries, one couple from UK was selected and the journey started on September 15th, 2011.

Their travel completed in December 23rd, 2012 and their travel blog is now compiled as a digital book.
