The Setouchi Triennale, Aichi Triennale and Kobe Biennale are three of the spectacular art festivals schedule to be held in Japan in 2013.
The events will feature a variety of art works, including live and performing arts, contemporary and modern arts, some traditional arts, music and art collaborations and more. Events will take place in several locations throughout the cities, in both indoor and outdoor venues. The art is presented in a unique manner; namely, in a way that allows visitors not only to enjoy the art, but to learn about and appreciate the character, history and beauty of the regions hosting the events.
An international gathering of artists will be exhibiting their works, bringing a broad and eclectic flavor to the events. Some sites will keep a few artworks open to the public even after the festival closes, so visitors can enjoy them year-round.
