More Cruises Focusing on Japan!

The number of cruise lines that operate Japan cruises has increased quite a bit recently, notably since Princess Cruises launched their Japanese built Diamond Princess in 2014, joining the Sun Princess for a cruise program with as many as 42 departures calling at many Japanese ports. Other cruise lines are offering tours departing from Japan and/or calling at one or more ports in Japan, often in conjunction with other Far Eastern ports of call.

Princess Cruises

Sailing from three homeports in Japan, both Japanese and non-Japanese passengers alike can enjoy The Land of the Rising Sun through visits to Tokyo, Kobe, and Hokkaido's Otaru. Special programs include delightful "local" experiences on board and shore excursions to take in some of the natural wonders of Japan.
