The city of Hamamatsu is conveniently located for access from overseas and other parts of Japan. It is only one hour from Centrair Airport using the Shinkansen bullet train Hamamatsu is well known for its high entrepreneurial spirit that gave birth to YAMAHA, the globally esteemed piano maker, and HONDA, the motorbike manufacturer.
